This is commissioned work realized for Helmut Peterson, all rights over the picture are granted to him. This is a full rework of a study I've done before. Here it shows the 1st Leibgarde regiment during the 1870-1871 Franco Prussian war. The scene is fictional but the uniforms are pretty much accurate.
